New #1s

D1 144#: Israel Petite (Nordonia)3
D3 126#: Nathan Attisano (Legacy Christian Academy)2
D3 138#: Anden Ankney (Tinora)4
D3 215#: Wyat Ripke (Archbold)3

Israel Petite defeated previous #1 Nick Blackburn in OT last week and then picked up a couple top-20 wins this week. Enough to take over the number 1 spot.

Nathan Attisano won 5-2 over #3 Wilcox this weekend while previous #1 Hermes bumped up a weight and lost an OT decision to #3 Caizzo of St Paul. The combination allowed Attisano to inch out Hermes in the rankings.

Anden Ankney defeated previous #1 Stubleski of Evergreen over the weekend, vaulting him to the top of the rankings.

Wyat Ripke took out previous #1 Delano of Ayersville by a score of 3-2. This is at least the third time the two have wrestled this year with Delano winning the first two matches. We’ll see this matchup at least three more times as Archbold and Ayersville are in the same sectional.
