What’s in the District Prediction Report?
- The probability of qualifying to state and winning districts for each wrestler
- Projected scores and number of state qualifiers for each team
- Every bracket predicted – 1,624 total matches
How the Bracket Simulation Works
Each bracket is simulated 3,000 times using DubStat’s Elo ratings to produce win probabilities for each wrestler. We then count the number of times each wrestler made it to state (place top-4) in those simulations.
For example, if a wrestler made it to state 2,400 times out of 3,000, then their probability of making it to state is 80% (2,400/3,000).
In a similar manner, each wrestler was assigned a probability of winning districts.
