Ayden King of Barnesville is DubStat’s Wrestler of the Week for week 8 of the OHSAA wrestling season.
King wins Jimmy Wood Invite with 3 top-10 wins
Ayden King of Barnesville won the Jimmy Wood Invitational this past weekend and did so by defeating three top-10 wrestlers in division 2.
He defeated #4 Jack Berry of Franklin 4-1 in pool competition before taking out #10 Bradley Spencer of Morgan by a score of 4-0 in the championship semifinal round.
In the finals King faced off with #6 Zachary Lopez of DeSales, who he defeated by a 9-1 major decision.

Ayden is currently ranked #2 at 165-pounds in division 3 and his team, Barnesville, is the favorite to win the OHSWCA State Duals and OHSAA Wrestling Tournament.
